Dr. Monica Collins

Monica joined Happy Smiles Dentist in August 2014.  She graduated from the University of Manchester in June 2012 and moved from London, where she worked at a surgery in Fulham for two years as a general dentist, to Sydney in May 2014.  Since moving to Australia, Monica has also spent some time in the NSW country treating school children.

Monica is committed to continued professional development which can be demonstrated in her ambition to complete the final part of her MJDF examination this year.   She won an undergraduate award for her endodontic work in June 2012 and from this gained membership to the British Endodontic Society.  Although she is interested in all aspects of dentistry Monica has a passion for endodontics.

On her time off Monica enjoys running and playing Gaelic football.  She was part of the ladies Gaelic team that won the British University Sevens Championship in 2010 and 2012.  She also completed the 2011 Belfast Marathon and is hoping to enter many races in Australia.  Monica is a keen traveller and violin player and she loves socialising with friends and family.
