Dr Khazima Riaz

Dr Khazima Riaz is a caring and dedicated dental professional known for her gentle approach and commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Dr Riaz graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dentistry in 2004 and was awarded the prize for outstanding clinical competencies in her final year. She also has a degree in Physiotherapy from Sydney University.

With over 19 years of experience in private practice, she has built a strong reputation for providing dentistry that combines compassion, precision, and the highest clinical standards. Before joining the Happy Smiles team, she spent nearly a decade as the Principal Dentist and owner of Riaz Dental in Parkes, NSW, where she built lasting relationships with patients and a loyal community following.

Dr Riaz is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles. She takes time to listen and ensure every visit is a positive one—especially for those who may feel anxious about dental treatment. Her gentle approach, combined with her attention to detail, helps patients feel comfortable and cared for at every stage of their dental journey.

She continues to update her dental skills with the latest advances in modern dentistry to ensure her patients receive the best possible care.

Outside Dentistry, Dr Riaz enjoys spending time with her husband and two boys. She also enjoys gardening, walking and travelling.

Dr. Anne Duong

Originally from Sydney, Dr. Anne moved to Adelaide and completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours. After graduation, she worked in Far North Queensland where she gained invaluable experiences in managing patients of all ages and varying dental health, particularly those with dental anxiety. Her rural tenure specifically highlighted the importance of preventative dental work, consolidating her commitment to provide all her patients the most comprehensive and comfortable care.

Anne enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a special interest in restorative work, and root canal treatment. She is a current member of the Australian Dental Association, regularly keeping up to date with the advancements in the field.

Anne loves the local hiking treks and beaches, as well as visiting the art galleries and theatres. She also loves to paint and bake on a free day.
